Battlefield 2 (PS2) Online Gameplay Part 1

WARNING: It has been brought to my attention, and I have seen first hand that the PS2 version of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat will no longer accept new players. It freezes up when trying to download the privacy agreement from the server when you try to sign up a new account. I'm bot sure if the problem is EA's fault, or Gamespy's fault, but someone needs to fix this or else no new players will ever be able to play the game. However, this could be another EA scheme to make the game die, and force players to upgrade to a newer system. Either way, new players be forewarned, you won't be able to play this game unless you have an existing account in this game specifically, because it won't even recognize your Gamespy account either. It has to be an account specifically set up in this game.

I'll keep you updated if things change. Chances are that with a game this old, the problem will never be fixed which is a shame.

Here is part one of a vid showing off the online play of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for the Playstation 2.

I know I suck at this game. I really do. I've actually had it since about the first week it came out, but I really haven;t played it a lot over the years. At least not as much as I have my other online games. I kill a few hours with it here and there and that's about it.

I like the game, but I have issues with it as well. Most of it comes down to the fact that it caters to spawn camping to the extreme.

I've got other issues with the game, but I'd rather not get into them. I do enjoy this game, but I only play it casually.

Note to trash talkers: I'm not trying to show my skillz, I'm actually just trying to show the game off for those who may be interested in playing it. If you must talk trash, I will remove your comment, and block you. It's a simple two click process, and I do it all the time. This is your first and last warning.

U see difference  between ps2 & 3 in quality very much today i get my old ps2 from an old box : / thumbs-up if gta san andreas was best ever :D only they have to refresh screen quality.
