As for part of the Dutch way of saying thank-you to Canadians for helping them during WW2, we get tons and tons of tulip bulbs sent over, you can see how vast the gardens are with the totally different color and type of tulips growing.

  • What is the fun of this?

    I`m sorry I don`t get is.

  • Pure and simple, read the description again. It is the MEANING of the tulips, and the colors and energy they bring out, and the colors and energy of the people glowing when they are around the tulip beds. Thank you for your input.

  • They are amazing, resiliant flowers, I have seen them get covered with late season snows, then shake themselves off, and show their colors once more! Too bad they did not hang around for longer. Glacier National is on my list of 'To see' places. Some day....

  • make it soon howie! those glaciers are only getting smaller! i recommend that place to anybody. best trip ive ever had. i remember i was only 14 so i didnt have a permit but my dad let me drive a little haha and no speed limit of course! the best part was when we were on a small trial when we rounded a bend and there were 2 FULL grown grizzly bears in the trail. we were so scared! but LUCKIELY they just fed on fish in the lakes and they had no cubs so they minded their own bussiness.

  • I hope too! Maybe I can make a barefoot run video on one if allowed to step upon them, and watch out for crevasses! Must have been amazing that trip you had. Driving, huh? Hmm, watch out for the Yogi Bears! Better to eat the fish (salmon?) in the lakes then us!

  • yeah there is at least thousands of miles of trails there. and its the most scenic place there is. the only thing is its probably pretty far west from where you are. theres no glaciers to walk on so crevasses arent a problem. it would be stupid to walk on one...they're very unstable and some can several thousands of feet deep! you would like it there howie. great place to get hiking excerise and barefoot if you want! im not sure what kind of fish they got out of those crystel clear blue lakes!

  • i saw a BUNCH of those at glacier national park in northern montana. about 15 miles south of canada! very cool!
