Global Warming

Global Warming is something awful happening to our planet. We can't completely stop it but we can make it less bad. There are myths about it and there are facts. I'm going to give you the facts. The rate of warming in the planet are increasing every year. The arctic ice is rapidly disappearing and by 2040 there may not be any ice left in the Arctic which will mean no animals will be able to survive there. If the ice disappears than the sea level could rise between 2 and 23 inches, which will cause parts of Southeast Asia, all of Florida, and all of Louisianna to be underwater. If you would like to help prevent global warming, the following are simple things that would help. 1. Use flouresent lightbulbs instead of regular ones. 2. Don't put electronics on standby. 3. Take showers, not baths. 4. Use less hot water. 5. Recycle 6. Reuse shopping bags or water bottles. 7. Plant a tree. 8. Start a carpool with friends or take a bus to your destination. 9. Take shorter showers. 10. Turn off the lights when you're leaving a room. 11. Turn off electronics when not in use. Those are simple things you can do to help prevent global warming from happening so soon. Thanks for your help. It will pay off!

The "rate of warming" is NOT increasing every year, you morons, its not increasing PERIOD. It has been getting colder for the past 10 years and will likely continue to because of low sunspot activity.

whistler2255 Polar Bears have increased from about 10,000 in 1968 to about 25,000 now. Also, Polar Bears can swim at least 60 miles. the heating and cooling is a cycle. there has been many iceages over the life of our planet. so theres nothing that says global warming isnt normal, BUT we dont have to make it worse.

Like my Professor at Uni Says! 50% of the heating is normal and 50% is man made.
