  • Demensha, I noticed the same thing with some of visionvictory videos. You tube would say "this video is no longer available."

  • I also got the same "this video not available" from val's part 2. Makes ya wonder......

  • Speaking of which, look for the "Money As Debt" google video, it's very informative. Just google that title.

  • Thank you for the amplification on the Fed and Treasuries, Very good comment!

  • What is unprecedented is the blatant, outright scale of the intended purchase. The 10 year TBond went from around 124 to 130 with the day as a response to the announcement.

Once the Fed starts buying up the treasuries in the world, they won't be able to stop. In the end they'll own all the treasuries and the world will be awash with new dollars -- and all the existing dollars will be chasing the same finite pool of goods. Hyperinflation, here we come!

  • "The Fed has never bought Treasuries"

Are you sure of this? I mean, that's how money gets into circulation, or at least one of the routes. The US government prints up treasuries and sells them to the Fed, the US government now has dollars they use to pay for their ongoing operations.

The Fed attempts to control the money supply by selling Treasuries on the open market (thus sucking up dollars) or buying them on the open market (thus adding dollars).

  • I just ordered the SAS book on Amazon, thanks for the recommendation.
