Tornado Sirens - Frisco/McKinney, TX

Video taken on 03/31/2008 from McKinney, TX during a Thunderstorm. At the time, a possible tornado had been sighted approaching the City of Frisco, which borders McKinney on the West. The Tornado Warning Sirens in Frisco were activated and can be heard in this video. The camera is pointed in the direction of Frisco, TX when you hear the sirens. The sirens were activated for approximately 20 minutes. They were stopped when the weather system started to break up.

The additional video is of the heavy rain that followed in the aftermath of the tornado warning.

and plano sirens did not fire off?

I am not sure this was the same storm/point in time when the Plano sirens did not go off. If I remember correctly, the Plano sirens failed to activate (because of human inaction) during an overnight storm, not during the day, when this video was taken.

from 2008-2011 in My state that is where there noirmally aint likely 2 have tornados but not impossible we've had many tornados/ waterspouts every summa where on tornado watch 2day till 7:45 last week til 8:00

The tornado sirens there don't seem as creepy as some that I've heard before, still a scary situation though.

yeah one day in my place we could hear them because the winrd broke6 and there were only 7 the wind was really strong
