Remove old shower stall and install new shower stall. Cut water to house off or if there are cut off behind the tub cut it off there. Carefully remove the old tub and shower valve. Remove handle, and esuction plate. Cut old valve out from the back side wall Clean work area and begin prepping the new tub and shower valve for installation. Begin install putting the new tub and shower in place and solder together , then come back to the tub side of the faucet in install the tub a shower trim

  • is it ok to cut the lip off the edge of the shower/tub so the molding will sit flush with the wall?

  • @falconsfan720 Well they don't advise you to cut the lip off the shower, But I do understand were your coming from, I had the same problem once before were the lip would hang out just a little to far past the wall on the side. What I did was used 1*2 sud's and made up the difference and dry wall over that. It worked out find. Is that what you were thinking? If not sorry but no you don't want to cut the lip.   • @Ryderdoremi Yes almost any Howe Depot or Plumbing Supply house. But you may have to by the hole piece and if I was you I'd get the tool and the brass or plastic ring. it should all come together. :-) Good Luck
