Oh, Dumbledear. We miss you.

@MrTrackman100 No need to re-read your comment, it was just a typo. I like Burton but Harris is a far more skilled actor.

@idinafanboi You confuse me. I LIKE Burton. It's Harris that I can't stand. Please re-read my comment. Thank you.

@MrTrackman100 You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Burton was one of the finest actors of his time.

richard harris was a charming mofo

I met him as well on the national tour in 1984. He was just as you said motofrescogirl. Quite charming, very clever. He was also humming "Not While Im Around" from Sweeney Todd. I had quite the school girl crush on him for decades after this. He made a brilliant Prof. Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series. Too bad he couldn't do them all.

Is Richard Harris the worst actor ever or what? He can't hold a candle to the great Richard Burton. He over acts every time and sings his words like a high school freshman. God, he's awful.

@eemmeennddeell NO, YOU ARE NOT ALONE--HE WAS THE PERFECT ARTHUR!
I was fortunate to see him when he could still seem to be a boy. By chance I ran into him at the stage door waiting for his limo. We talked for about 20 minutes. I was 13 and we talked chivalry and the ethics of right vs might and the likelihood of petty knights agreeing to disarm to champion this cause. Not only was he gracious but he knew his history and mythology, He was perfectly charming and appeared to be content to converse on these topics with me. A perfect gentleman

I was in the pit for this production and it was amazing!! Richard would constantly improvise scenes and would always be up to some mischief....however when he closed the 1st act it always brought chills down my spine...he was amazing. Rest in peace.
