Google Plus One - Stealing Facebook's Thunder

Google has just started trialling it's +1 project. The Big G has released it in limited fashion across in the USA as it searches for ways to compete against Facebook's domination of social networking. The +1 button will compete directly with FB Like buttons. You can guarantee that if Google is giving resources to it's development, then the Plus One button is definitely going to add to the signals that are processed by the search algorithm.
