With Jared and Glenn at Collegiate Nationals, the rest of the team still had a good day. A strong day for Rob, Donny clean and jerked 200kg, Spencer went up to 190 but missed the jerk, Jon made a huge clean of 190 with a heroic (?) attempt at 195kg.
awesome.. any pointers? i sometimes have problem with comming under the bar early enough.. when i see my videos on max 1rep clean and jerk, i see that i actually lift the bar to high and meet it to late is it better to train with lower weights and just keep trying getting under the bar as quickly as possible?any pointers or any exercise that will help me remember and make the reflex better? ive seen people trying hang-squat-clean.will that work?
does donny have quite short arms? it seems like when he does the jerk, the bar isnt very far above his head compared to what you see with the other guys
