As the writers of theis song, my wife and I are planning to record this song as it was originally written in time to post for ANZAC day.
This was not written with any racial overtures but was in dedication to the soldiers (regardless of the uniform they wore) of the Great War, particularly the Gallipoli and Wester Front campaigns.
We tried to capture what it would be like for a veteran to reflect on the experience of the hell that is battle and what it is like to Answer the Call.
