Haitian-American Hip Hop Violinist, Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) talks to LSM about his music, originality, late starters, his idea of what it takes to be a successful musician, and black enterprise.
Plus, he performs one of his songs in part two!
Interviewer: Jasmine Reese
Hey Guys,
This was my first broadcasted interview so I did not put myself in the video too much until I learn how to interview better. It was totally unscripted. I had cue cards, but DBR is such a wealth of knowledge that I ended asking him so much more! I hope you enjoy.

V. inspiring. I'm put in mind of the person who said to Billy Harper, "Don't go to New York, you'll starve." He replied, "Let's see starvation, because the music's worth it."

I'll have to agree. You must excite the muse, not be resting on your laurels. That's one reason why music performance is the most entrepreneurial pursuit that exists. Starting late is relative. A strong start meant more for some of us. You can tell by the passion in your heart.
