I know they took the vote, but I hope something can change it! I hear you have 70-75% of the people with you.
I wish Americans had a clue! We should have been taking to the streets a very long time ago. Every time the multinational corporations (and the politicians, esp Republicans) want more money for the top 1 %, they turn around and cut and squeeze those who have the very least: the poor, the working people, the disabled and elderly. And, worst of all, our children & our schools.

Well done to the people of France for knowing and protecting your rights. Ireland is in a state of shit because the people here are the exact oppostite...sit on their arses complain and do nothing, the young generation are an embarrassment. Keep up the protest because those in power will always try to chip away your rights

This is the end of Sarkozy who is cozy with Washington. Any President who support the rich and not preferring their people & placing burdens upon them more than they can bear should be deposed & replaced, or at least meet with the people striking and give them what they need cause they lose a lot more in strikes that close the city. Now I understand why they cut off heads in the past to get rid of the bourgeoisie! Heaven help them. They are too austere with their people! Poor France!

@nominou Same here with the Americans, the Irish, Blacks and other post-immigrant groups are so use to getting shit on here that they take lying down. Most Americans can't even dream of the rights most Europeans have. Americans go into debt for college, housing, sometimes food and mostly everything while the rich get richer. The top 2% owns 90% of our nations wealth, it's so fucking ridiculous I'm ashamed. Hopefully Karl Marx will smile on us and bless us with a glorious revolution in America.
