"The video shows the planning research of Clone City: the generation of planning solutions for whatever urban contest starting from the contest itself. Through the "trittico urbano" instrument, theoretic basis of the clone city, we go over the architectural project: the trittico collects what its before this project and at the same time its the result of the post-project. Flowing containers of words and signals, the trittici describe with an anonymous and generic shape the situations and the urban met places. Clone City distorts the rectory idea of the city and the ways to represent itself. The repetition technique, stressed by the chromatic differences of each piece, denies the improbable autonomy and singleness of each component. Still and immovable, the fragments of the Clone City architecture hold on like metropolitan foreign presences which live the city, taking out its symptoms and reacting to its solicitations. Into their never-ending fixity, they evoke a unknown environment, ambiguously archetype."
