Amber - Rescued Rottweiler with Broken Leg

Amber is a young rottweiler that was rescued from a shelter in southern Louisiana. She is severely underweight and has a broken back right leg which was left to heal improperly. As you can see it doesn't slow her down or keep her spirit down. She is currently being fostered thru SSRR (Southern States Rescued Rottweilers) and will be going through heartworm treatment before being able to have her leg repaired. Once she is healthy, Amber will be adopted out to a new family that will love her and care for her.

It is truely sad what some people do to these beautiful dogs. I rescued an 11 year old rottweiler from a shelter and it broke my heart that people would just drop her off. I hope Amber finds a nice loving home that she truely deserves.

THANK YOU! I have been looking for this exact video! I need some advise. My 9 month old Rott got hit by a car and had a SEVERE fracture to his back right leg- surgery and plating... six weeks later... he is still hippity hopping around EXACTLY like Ms. Amber. He is 100lbs. What do you think... How long was recovery for Amber and did she ever heal RIGHT? Weight bearing? Other than the bum leg... he's perfectly fine.
