An example of the open, commercial playoff, return to program and close of CNN International's weekday news program 'Connect The World'.

This edition of the show, recorded September 7, 2009, was the first to use the modified opening titles and remixed theme. It was also the first edition of the show to use the London set, rather than the chroma key set the show had previously used since the program's launch.

  • Great to see improvement on graphic & music after my complaint since its debut.

  • Yes, it has been a fantastic change! It has really given the show a new energy. You could tell that Becky was enjoying it, and so she should - they've done such a good job.

    A positive change, IMO!

  • "They were attempting to bring down eyeliner..." hehe.

I think the show looks great, though, and they seem to have beefed up the content of it, too!

  • @Jaimito85 that's because red is the ~sole property~ of BBC News outside the US, especially in the UK.

  • who create al qaeeda wat is root of it, think mind.

  • Im tired of seeing the BLUEEEE on every CNNI opening look. Too much.

  • Love the blooper at 3:08!

  • It is truly an integrated news programme, with news, interview and analysis in an international fashion. Even you can find that an hour is not far from enough for Becky Anderson, simply to watch how short the commericial break is (60 seconds or perhaps even shorter?). Keeping the new ticket throughout the show is not strange at all.

  • It's the only show which keeps the ticker, cool!

  • I think I love the London studio more than the Atlanta one now!
