Chinas set to seal a high profile deal with Airbus
Another landmark deal for European aircraft maker Airbus. China will reportedly sign a big order later today for at least 100 Airbus A320 jets. The contract is worth about USD 7bn. Chinas fast-growing travel industry is growing by double digits annually the country has become the major battle ground for Airbus and rival Boeing which currently holds about 60% of the Chinese market.
Simon Littlewood, President of Asia Now quotes,
The new facility will be complementary to rather than replace anything in France and Germany.
Theres a significant amount of components being sourced from Chinese manufacturers so the idea will be to achieve synergies by assembling the bits that are sourced in China, within China, rather than sending them all in France then sending them back again in China."
Hardly ever do I read something as dumb as your comment on this issue.

Well there is good news and bad news, the good news is that the Chinese can probably make you a jet for about a hundred Euros, $50 American. The bad news is these jets are like bombers and are likely to fall out of the sky on schools, sporting events, and boat loads of chinese refugees at any moment. So when you take the human loss toll into account these plane are worth more like 50 Euros which is $10 American.
