@organboi69 It's not that the piece couldn't be enjoyed at that speed, but the musical lines cannot be perceived on that organ (or perhaps any organ) at that speed. Bach is all about structure, and if I were hearing this piece for the first time, much of that structure would remain hidden to me. But you have a lot of talent. The older you get, the more musically you tend to play. That Austin sounds nicer than the Austin in the American Fork.

..awful performance..you have learnt Bach but you haven't understood what is Bach..you are playing too fast, what a mess!

Too fast. You loose the beauty of this wonderful powerful work.

How can you even enjoy music at this speed? Bravo you're technically amazing....

As a teacher of mine once told me, if you're playing Bach fast just to impress people with how fast you can play then you're missing the point.

Terrific! You are a genius!
In the good old days with grammophone records I often played the LPs of 45 instead of 33 rpm. I don't think this is "too fast" but either it is just me being slow, or the separation between the notes is unclear. Could simply be the sound quality.
I understand many of you think I played this too fast. I think many of you need to be reminded that this piece is a toccata, not a prelude. Since I made this video years ago, I will admit now that it may be a slight bit too fast. But if played too much slower, it drags horribly and loses the drama that I feel Bach intended. I feel that the tempo I played it at is suitable.
