いろは唄 (Iroha Uta)
By: 銀サク (Ginsaku)
Difficulty: Extreme (8)
Grade: Excellent
Module: Kagerou (Heat Haze)

Previously featured in the arcade version, Iroha Uta makes its debut on PSP. Most of this isn't too bad, but the guitar solo is pretty rough as well as the placement of the triples near the end. It's kind of funny that the actual Chance Time segment is dead easy compared to the sections immediately before and after it, heh.

Sorry about the wait, here are some Extend videos in glorious progressive scan (now that the Blackmagic video capture software has been updated to support it). Basically, that means better video quality all round, and what better way to show off the awesome new songs and PVs available in Extend? The game's also quite a good deal more challenging than 2nd, as you can probably see.

All videos were captured via my PSP's TV out using my Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle video capture device. I only run official firmware so I can't help with any custom firmware related questions, sorry! If you want the game, I recommend importing it from a site such as http://www.play-asia.com/ - all PSPs are region free, so you'll be able to play it no matter where you live. :) Enjoy!

  • @Jared5000 Have you used both of your hand to do the notes? I used to ave trouble because I just used my right thumb to play, it was impossible for me until I started to used the left buttons too. That way is like a taking turn with your thumbs and it is a bit faster than forcing your right thumb at the speed of 3 ^^ I hope you understand what I said... I'm not very good at explaining things...

  • The only thing that throws me off in this song is those triple/quadruple note chains during the guitar part. Either I am not dextrous enough or the frame rate just drops too much when I get to that part.
