Oh! and whoever this guy is- the books were written as follows: Matthew A.D. 70, Mark A.D. a few years earlier, Luke A.D. 83, Paul A.D. 52-65. Their leader had just been put to death in a brutal way. Would you publish works that would kill you? Most likely :). Considering that time gap, I think it is remarkable how few discrepancies there are between the books; considering that they were written INDEPENDENTLY from one another.

Wrong. Any scholar will tell you (even the christian ones) the first book written was by Mark at the earliest in 70 AD (most agree between 70 and 110 AD). They know this because he wrote of the destruction of a Jewish temple (in 70 AD)....so unless he wrote his whole book in a year (seems unlikely) it happened later....much later. All the other books were written after Mark's (recognized fact by everyone) because theirs are all derived from Mark's.

The Gospels were written by reformist Jews under the auspices of the Roman Empire. Roman Historians Tacitus,Flavius and Tranquillas were all born AD and wrote their accounts of JesusChrist AD the same time Gospels were being fabricated c. 50-70 AD. So Jesus surely never existed and is just a dogmatic character like Moses or Jonah.
