This sounds pretty good. The drumming just needs to be a bit more thick in the chorus. Maybe a ride cymbal instead of just hi-hat all the way through. Also, maybe the guitarists could be a bit more dynamically contrasting? Like one guy plays something and let's it ring out, and the other guy keeps it driving. Maybe one guy add some reverb or delay? It just needs to feel different during the various parts. Just some constructive criticism to help you better utilize your talent. Bless you all.
@joshrdealmusic - thanks for the tips. in retrospect we should have done those so i agree with you. one day to rehearse 10 song and most of which we were playing the first time (such as this one) can do that, i guess. we just kept plowing through the songs one after another. there are other songs in here that I thought we did pretty good, though :) ... unfortunately, this was the last time i've played with these guys :(
