yes.....it was "LUMALALANG SITWASYONG PANGKAPAYAPAAN SA BANSA"....... A very nice topic to debate...i played as the lakandiwa in our team..... it was last november 2008....
by the way can u give me tips for what is really the essence of balagtasan? cause i really dont know whats the proper thing should be done during the debate.....cause we're only following what our coaches told us.....that's why we won because of our uniqueness....

Hi Lamberto! Thanks for the very nice comment. You're probably good in balagtasan since you mentioned that you were the champion in Cebu City. Just wondering what was the topic you debated? You're asking tips, I can give you some. Be realistic, a good lesson to learn, put some humor and act alive. I can also share to you a script I wrote and was performed by my fellow poets. Ipagpatuloy nating palawigin ang kulturang Pilipino. Take care. God bless.
