The 44th East Essex Regiment of Foot are a highly respected re-enactment and living history group portraying one of Wellington's finest county line infantry battalions. As an extremely professional unit they represent the British redcoats as they would have appeared during the Napoleonic Wars.

If you're interested in taking the King's shilling you can contact us via our website:

Or find us on Facebook, just search "44th East Essex Regiment of Foot".

The music on this clip opens and closes with British Army bugle calls, General Salute and Retreat.
The two main tracks are 'Where Eagles Dare' (a tenuous allusion to the 44th's "Salamanca Eagle") and 'The Battle' from Gladiator/ Both from The Codstream Guard's new album Heroes, which I strongly recommend to you.
