This contrast test indicates that transverse magnetic field can drive mercury, but aligned magnetic field can not drive mercury. This experiment is designed for the pulsar electrodynamics.

  • And can you do a favour? Help to repeat the Faraday paradox experiment.

In the condition of aligned, orthogonal, cylindrical symmetry and noncylindrical symmetry rotating magnetic field.

    That will be very helpful.

  • You could refer to the Faraday paradox experiment.

It had proved the magnetic field will NOT rotate with the Magnet polar axle.
