I just randomly picked this video and I had never seen this series in my life (Yes I've heard of the Shinsengumi) and Heisuke has always been one of my favorite people (Saito-san and Okita-san coming before) and I just burst into tears D= (I first heard of the Shinsengumi from an anime called Hakuouki, and that's probably why I have so much of an attachment to all of them)

To tell the truth, i think that the real stories of Yamanami, Todo, Kawai and some others are even more sad beacause of the difference in the characters : real Kondo and other persons were not the same as in the movie is showed.
