  • you could even tell when ernie harwell said welcome to another year of tiger baseball at comerica park. you can tell he was dissappointed. its just not about the park anymore. it was about who payed the most to have the park named after their company. its just not the same not when its called comerica park. please send me a response if you agree.

  • The Tigers I grew up with, Morris...Parrish, Gibson goosing the Goose in the '84 series.

  • Hoooooooomeeeeeer....... Ozzie and the Straw!!

  • Bless You Boys!!! Let's whip them Yankees tonight!

  • Yep, Tiger baseball....saw Kaline break his collarbone at Yankee Stadium....

  • So is it Motor City and not New York City??

  • @TenWhoWereTaken Same here!

  • Baseball will always be the best sport. Why? Because it's so scrappy. There's no replays, no crazy technological 3-d tracking cameras, no do-overs. What happens happens and that's the call. Hopefully it'll stay this way forever. And anyone who disagrees, I challenge you to stay in the batters box while someone throws a 100 mph fastball up near your chin.

  • RIP Harmon Killebrew

the first of just four batters to hit a baseball over the left field roof at Detroit's Tiger Stadium.

    WE lost another true legend.

  • Go Boston Red Sox!

  • @rocknroller111 I grew up with them up too. We couldn't get a ticket to the playoff clincher against KC so we stuffed ourselves we hot dogs at a Coney Island in downtown Detroit. It had a small B&W. The place was full for the whole game. When the last out came we could hear the roar all the way down Michigan. When Gibby hit the clinching HR we screamed with delight from our living rooms. No tickets but plenty of joy. One of the best moments of our lives

  • I've never watched a Baseball game in my life but this song is great. Got directed here by the Homer at the Bat episode of The Simpsons.
