Looking for the cheapest family cell phone plan? Tracfone is a great choice and definitely the cheapest way to get phones for the whole family. Four phones for $30!
Since the recession I've been using Tracfone to save more money and I cancelled our cell phone contracts and we've trained ourselves not to rely on our phones all day and to make unnecessary calls. So my husband and I are saving $120 a month using Tracfone's $19.99 plan/90 days/120 minutes (with the double minutes for the life of the phone plan) . Since Tracfone uses the Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile networks we don't get dropped calls and we get the best coverage.
@gwinston475 I figured out why the network is so good- don't hate me for doing research on this lol- but they have deals in place to use both ATT and Verizon networks. That would explain the coverage. Aren't those the top two networks in the country?
I remember when i use to be in a family plan, and then i went away for college. I stayed within Tracfone though, because for my budget it was the only cellphone provider that fit. It keeps me out of contract and under my max budget which is perfect. Btw the network coverage unbelievable for what they charge.
My whole family also got this deal with tracfone, due the tough economic times we're going through. My dad worked out that we save about $300 a month as a family and we love our tracfones!
My son kept begging me for a phone and I was afraid of paying way too much. TracFone put my fears to bed with their Straight Talk plan. It’s just $45 a month for unlimited talk, text, and data. Christmas may be over but who says I can’t get her a TracFone for the New Year?
@sirantebellum Wow thats good to know. I just signed me and my wife up since we are looking to cut back on our expenses with my girl going to college and all. I had no idea that they ran specials for members like that. I;m so used to my old carrier who couldn't care less about my business. I guess since there is no contract they have to keep you happy to keep your business.
I just finished my first year with TracFone and I don't think I could've been happier. I was so happy in fact, that I just renewed that year plan and got myself 250 bonus minutes using a promo code I found on their website. $99.99 for 1 whole year of service cannot be beat.
I just got my two kids tracfones for when they go back to school. I'm a working mom and I need to be able to keep track of the kids from work during the day and know they can call if they have an emergency. She's right about peace of mind. What I pay for tracfone is a small price for peace of mind.
$30 for a family plan is a great deal. I just recently bought into this plan and so far, it's been working out for us. At this price, I was able to give a phone to my 8 year old daughter who's SUPER EXCITED!

@gousc0612 According to your profile you're 22 years old. How old is your son that was begging you for a phone?
