Red Devils (Betamax Conversion) Part 1

Due to lenght I had to cut the video file in two parts hope. I hope you will enjoy this little piece of belgian aviation history. The Red Devils was the belgian airforce national stuntteam. There stationed at Brustem airbase (sint-truiden). The pilots and mechanics were all volunteers and did the training and maintenance after their hours. The fouga's were used daily by students and instructors of the 9nd wing training. Even with limited resources the Red Devils became one of the best stunt teams in the world. But because of high costs the team was put off.

@ateh1 Thx! you also have a lot of nice video's !!! According to me the fouga, f-104, F-4 and mirage era was aviation at is best ... As shown in this video ;)...

Trouwens,dit zijn beelden uit Koksijde?

Ik zie RNW11 en 29 en het grote "verboden te roken"-bord in de huidige Seaking-Hangar?

@CharlieAlfaPapa De meeste beelden zijn van en boven Brustem, Er zijn verschillende beelden van tijdens een airshow die in Koksijde plaats had.

en het "verboden te roken" bord de vind je zo ongeveer in elke shelter of hangar terug ;)

maar de fascinatie blijft,ik hoorde mn ouders al vertellen over tijden dat ze nog

met Hawker Hunters vlogen,ben te laat geboren,me dunkt...

En wat is die muziek rond 0:50?klinkt bekend in de oren.
