While Russell is a truly awful Survivor player...the Galus are absolute idiots for not seeing this coming. Why on earth did they completely dismiss the possibility of one of them finding an idol?

@bdirknoel1077 Of course they knew this was a possibility, but what else can they do? They have to vote for somebody, and Russell had only just pissed away an Idol last tribal council. They're not idiots based on this tribal, the time where they proved to be idiots is the last tribal, when voted off one of their own, instead of somebody from Galu, they could had even split the votes, THAT'S stupid.

And I wouldn't go as far to say Russell is "Awful", there's been worse, much worse.

@Tannwise At this tribal council it was 7 to 4, they couldn't split the votes, and they didn't want to split the votes at the first tribal because they didn't trust Shambo enough to go along with the plan without telling Russell.

@IceYourPimpHand They made the mistake of putting Shambo in the outs in the first place. The should have tried to offer a bigger, better deal to the black guy who may/may not ride on the different boat.

@Debachi You're right, the girls being bitchy to Shambo was the downfall for Galu, but I don't think anybody was going to flip anyway, and with the numbers being so uneven, they were too confident to try and play the game properly.

russell is probably the best STRATEGIC player to play this game but definitely not the most social player....if he was a little more careful he would have certainly won and not natalie cuz natalie really only made one move which was voting eric off i guess

@psychokinrazalon Jep - in season 8 when Boston Rob and Amber got to the final it was obvious that Rob played it better, but most of them were too bitter to vote for him because he had dominated them so hard.

@MsMarc1234 Agreed. The jury in Samoa was stupid as all hell (minus John), so they had no brains to use when voting for a winner. As for HvV, the juries in all-star seasons are always bitter.

People talk about Russell's social game, but I cant help but feel that he really had two terrible jury's who was REALLY bitter that he blindsided them, and that he might have won alot of other survivor seasons.

There are 3 Things that are key in this game. Physical, Social and Strategic gameplay. The two most important are the strategic and social. Being Physical is always good but to me winning immunity is just a way of hiding from the smart players. But just as Sue Hawk used to say, in Mother Nature the Snake eats the rat. The smart player will always get the physical.

Why do I post this on a Russell video? I have no Idea but it just entered my mind and I wanted to write it down before I forget it^^
