Patti LaBelle - He Will Rock You (Obama) August 25th, 2008

A free, live concert by Patti LaBelle, my godmother for those of you who know how i get down, @ Wingate Field in Brooklyn on August 25th, 2008 that capped off the 2008 Martin Luther King, Jr. Concert Series with more than a bang. The humongous park was packed to capacity and as soon as Patti took to the stage, she whipped us into a frenzy by launching into, of all things, "We Will Rock You" by Queen...only Miss Patti packed a double punch by making it an ode to Obama...and "He Will Rock You" it became. who else could pull this off? no one. then again, not many people can do anything that Patti can.
