The Spirit of Southern and Dr. Taylor Hightower perform "Bui Doi" from the musical "Miss Saigon". The Bui Doi is the name given to the children of Vietnam that were born of American soldiers and Vietnamese mothers during the war. After the war, the soldiers that had fathered those children left the country and left the mothers and children behind. Because of the children's mixed ethnicity, they were visably different and were put into camps and denied health care and food because they were so hated. Bui Doi translates as "The dust of life".
