@Genius83 Yes, thats what I wrote, but i didnt know about 130bhp cabrio =) One thing for sure - there is no serial 1.8 150bhp :)

@robyescortmk6 ...but well done you for fitting the 2.0 to the Escort. In my opinion the 2.0 Zetec should have been made available for the Ghia X and the late GTi model, especially as the zetec engines (1.6, 1.8 and 2.0) were all universal fitting (I think).

@robyescortmk6 being the geek that I am I've checked. Mk5a (90-92), 1.8 becomes avilable 1992, 105bhp on LX and Ghia, 130bhp on XR3. Mk5b (93-95), as with mk5a, although not sure about 130bhp. Mk6 (95-), 105bhp on LX and Ghia, 130bhp on Si Carbio (according to 1995 brochure - only for 95 then discontinued). 1996 - 105bhp on LX and Ghia, 115bhp on Si and Ghia X. 1997 - 105bhp discontinued, 115bhp used for all 1.8litre escorts (according to brochure). 2.0 Zetec engine only avilable in Mondeo...

@Genius83 Dont think so... Mk5b and MK6 had 1.8 105bhp, MK6 had 1.8 105bhp and 115bhp, the xr3i version with 130bhp had mk5 only... Mondeo had 2.0 136bhp (ive put that engine in my escort mk6 few days ago so i know it exists)
