All those who seek the truth about Roman Catholicism should read Hunt's book by the same name, or check out former R.C.C. priest Richard Bennett'e site. It has a wealth of info. on Romanism. He published a book "Far From Rome Near to God" which had the testimonies of 50 former R.C.C. priests. He loves Jesus but sees thru the false teachings of Rome. @211jhb From Augustine till late in the 20th century the Roman Catholic hierarchy considered itself the

"New Israel" and totally rejected the idea that Israel should become a nation again (contrary to God's own decree that Israel would become a nation again - read Ezekial chapters 34 thru 39). Roman Catholicism refused to recognize Israel as a nation till 1993. It recognized Hitler's government within 6 months. The Pope argued against Israel being allowed to become a nation in the 1940's.

@moabedom The reason I just "blocked" you, is that I see from your recent posts elsewhere, you are an ardent apologist for Roman Catholicism. Fine, but I have no intention of boring others, here, with lengthy arguments on Romanism & or, "replacement theology" ( Calvinist or Roman). These points have been discussed "ad infinitum" on other program posts of ours.

Zechariah chapters 12 thru 14 are future (remember, the "chapters" are added, there were no such chapters in the Dead Sea Scroll versions). 12:8,9 " 8] In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God...

"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:3-4). &, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!". -ye would'nt

@moabedom I've been sumarizing what Zechariah, et.al. wrote. When Yehovah comes back to set his feet upon the mount of Olives, there will be a major earthquake, the city will colapse and a flat place will arise next by. The Jews (persecuted by the evil leader they had brought to world power) will flee to that place, and there they will see who Yehovah is: the same Yeshua their fathers killed and whose followers they themselves masacred a few years before. Finally, they will repent! Haleluyah!

@zekigpr No. I've already quoted Zechariah several times showing that Jesus rescues Jerusalem as it's being overcome. Traditional Judaism without the true Messiah Jesus is no more corrupt than Roman Catholicism, or any of the other false religious systems on earth. You've made your erroneous point several times. Please don't repeat it again or you will be blocked.

@moabedom The Mount of Olives will be raised up and the Old City will be destroyed and all the Jews who are living in the city, who have come to see the evil of the Antichrist will seek refuge in the Mount of God. At this time they will repent and will become the blessing they were meant to be from the beginning. But till them, their religion, Judaism, is a factory of anti-Christian believes, and ideologies, and worldviews. It is the leaven of the pharisies!!! Please open your eyes!!!!
