Part 9: This is a series where I build Chicago "L" Train Platform Laser Kit from a company called "Imagine That Laser Art" for review for The Modeler's Guild (http://www.modelersguild.com/)
Music Notes: The music on this video was recorded using Sonar Home Studio Ver 6.0. The drums and keyboards were played on an M-Audio Keystation 61 ES and/or sequenced in the MIDI Editor. The bass used is an YaMaha 270F Fretless with Dimarzio Pickups.
This series began as a review. As reviews go, it's a 10. As kits go, it seems to be a 2. Many 'reviewers' would simply have said they wouldn't recommend it due to poor instructions and missing bits then left it at that. You have gone above and beyond by making it work in regardless of issues and shown the rest of us how to deal with the situation. Kudos! And Thanks.

Nice to see a pro get messed up with a kit like us normal people do, most times it's 3 am and your just ready to put in the last part and found out they didn't ship it and there is no place to get it at 3 am!

Do you suppose you could cut a single tie from each of the ends of the completed sections to use as your gap fillers? Looks like three ties might not be quite enough to fill the hole and it would create a few other small gaps on the ends, but maybe those could be filled with small scraps cut from the actual sheet the parts came on? Might save you a little time over buying and staining new parts. *shrug*
