I like turn base, freeform and mixutre of the two battles in my games. All that matters is if the execution is done properly.

I kinda want to play this game but the Turn-Based Battles suck in my opinion

I like turn based games but honestly I wish a lot of them would just switch to realtime gameplay with some level of strategy incorperated, because a lot of games seem to want to have realtime style combat,but as turns. For instance, FFX. It's not like you're playing chess. There's barely any strategy - the game is just taking turns doing brute force. It would've been less patience trying if it was in realtime.

I agree with many of you, I love turn based rpgs. I have tried several more fast faced rpg's and it is a nice change at times, but some of them go way to fast it just ruins it a bit. No time to think, with some games that works but with so many spells, items and attacks to choose from it rarely doesn't. I'm so glad Lost Odyessey did it this way.
