  • @jenzu0 Its the melody from Bridge of River Kwai

  • @jenzu0 I'll fill you in on that: The song is called "Colonel Bogey March", from the movie "Bridge on the River Kwai".

  • they also sing/whistle it in the original 1961Parent Trap. does anyone knows the name of this song, its been driving me nuts for years.

  • @XcaXa86X Mel Brooks most likely took this from the song parody

    Hitler Has Only Got One Ball

    You can find some copies here on youtube. Mel Brooks was famous for taking jabs at Hitler and this song was very popular back in the day. It of course is a song parody and the original version is the Colonel Bogey March. I can not find any original source for this but I am placing my money on the Hitler song.

  • I've seen this movie many times now. It's probably THE best Mel Brooks film ever made! Also, if I'm not mistaken, the "dinks" are supposed to be the equivalent to the "jawas" from Star Wars.

  • @XcaXa86X it's from the bridge o the river kwai

  • @jenzu0 It's actually an old British WW2 song. "Hitler has only got one ball".

  • TECHNO REMIX OF THIS SOMEONE!! PLEAASSSEEEE!!

  • @jenzu0 It's the Colonel Bogey March, the one the POWs whistle in the Bridge On The River Kwai.

    It was a popular theatre tune in Britain during WWII due to the bawdy lyrics.

  • for the record when the best comment was the one of Msut, because I discovered the River Kwai March when you mentioned the movie. :)) so bigger thanks to you (;
