@oZZarOsce Yes, the HDD needs to be formatted as a GUID partition in order for Mac OS X to boot. So, that's why I always have people install Mac OS X first and then Windows after. And I've given places to get Windows on my website.
-
@Wixdfast2 You know what? I haven't formatted my HD to GUID, becouse I'm dual booting and I don't wanna loose my windows partition. Is there any solution to not erase the whole hd to get a partition to GUID?
Otherwise, can I like "save" my Windows 7 into a dvd, so I don't have to download it? Becouse thats illegal :)

@Wixdfast2 How do I know whick kexts to choose? When I get kernel panic it says, Sleepenabler, but I can't choose any sleepenabler.
-
@oZZarOsce But not all my hardware was supported, it was just enough to get it to boot, but I suppose I was just lucky. Kexts are needed 80% of the time to get Mac OS X to boot.
-
@Wixdfast2 But you didn't chose in this tutorial?
-
@oZZarOsce Yes, kexts are used like drivers. If the OS doesn't have kexts, it doesn't know how to use your hardware
-
And then I got the kernel panic. Ohhhh, do I have to choose any kexts?
@Wixdfast2 hi, if i install it will i have to boot from the cd every time? Also, if so can i remove the cd when booted?

@StreamlinedPro Once you've installed it, you should never have to have the DVD still in. It should boot off of your hard drive.
