  • Pete with a J-200 solo is unstoppable - the finest rhythm machine on the planet!!!

  • Traffic is among the bands with excellent musicians and a very classy (don't like this word much, but...)production.

I met Capaldi in Brazil a couple of times, and he was a very nice guy, believe me. He desrves this tribute, believe me.

    Regards from Brazil.

  • A running joke? Pete sure didn't sound amused . Pete is a talker and always has good insight and memories. There is always some schmuck who thinks it's humorous to interupt him with that line. OUR LOSS. If you don't want to hear Pete; stay home. He can talk all he wants as far as I'm concerned.

  • Awesome

  • @AlfBeng "The Get on With It"heckle is a running joke with Pete Townsend

he gets it all the time,it all stems from a show the who played in the Royal albert hall,

    some years back.

  • Love this version. Pete nails it again.

  • @jcharlesguitar

Agreed, however I think this is his Guild F-512-NT 12 string in this tune.

  • To the person from Brazil. How true!

  • "...and some cunt said 'get on with it'"

I laughed my ass off when he said that. Pete Townshend is awesome.

  • As others have said here, everyone who knew him liked him. Really nice guy.

  • agreed, why be disappointed because his solo work doesn't sound like The Who? Of course it doesn't, nor should it. But unllike so many of his peers, Mr. Townshend has never sold out!

  • Eu não sabia que O Capaldi era tão conhecido no mundo. Nós do Brasil, mais precisamente do Rio, sempre encontrávamos com este cara e ninguém dava bola... Estava aqui largadão...

I dont know that Capaldi was so famous in the world. We from Brasil always find him at night...
