I've been hooked on this song for the last week or so. Total earworm, but a nice one. Thanks, VV! :)

Just learned how to play it. Well, almost ;) This is my first take at recording it. First webcam video for YouTube too. Far from perfect, but at least it might serve as a tutorial for someone who's looking for tabs or chords for the song. Forgive the singing - I'm at the tail end of a throat infection, as you can probably hear...

Right, enough excuses. My interpretation was:

VERSES: E G# A F#

CHORUSES AND BRIDGE: C#m A E B

  • @ChrisPetallano Weirdly, we're *both* on exactly 6,847 views at the moment. The odds against a given YouTube user spotting two videos having exactly the same number of views is probably quite small, so this amuses me :)

  • @ChrisPetallano You still play it very musically, and your singing's much better than mine! I really like your cover.

  • @SamPabloKuper I wanted to play the strumming more like this, but I sucked.

  • Dude, your badass! Your chords are awesome! :D

  • @Izmac92 I'm not sure what kind of answer you're expecting (is there a tab format for strumming patterns?), but here goes. The song's in 4/4. Throughout it, your strumming hand should be moving down on the first & third semiquavers of each beat & up on the second and fourth. For each bar during the verse you'd strike the strings on up or down movements pretty much as follows:

    DDUUDDUDDDU.

For each bar of the chorus this will do:

    DDDDDDDD.

Add some palm muting & trills & you're almost there.

  • Really enjoyed watching this cover, loved it. :D
