There is alot more to consider than just dropping it. Electronic components can fail without reason. You would be a fool not to get AppleCare. Personally, AppleCare has saved the day many times, and has more than paid for itself. My iBook is about to leave AppleCare warranty, but I've saved well over $2,000 because I had it.

buy apple care , cauz if just one thing , even a hardware problem ( even if it not your fault ) if something screwes up it will cost you a whole ps3 to fix just one thing , when a whole psp cost you can get it fixed if two or 3 things go wrong just buy it
