@Totma11 you have to consider that berlusconi is not loved by the majority of people in italy! the major critics come from inside the country! and it's quite normal considering how this guy continuosly wipes his ass with the constitution and uses the majority in parliament to make laws that have the only purpose of preventing him from being prosecuted! italians are not a united people, they have never been, neither are very patrioctic,
this new patriotism is a media' construction

It is strange to behold the ominous tones of the narrator of this program- as you might get the feeling something rare is going on in Berlusconi's Italy... which of course would be utter balderdash. Why? Because every country has people who hold power- & based on the traditional mores of that country attempt to hold on to it as long as possible. A more important question than style of government is efficacy of it... and Berlusconi's fellow Italian's shall be the jury... not anybody else.
-
@biosun2 or it has something to do with the fact that he's a criminal and would have been condemned in any other country...least to say, he'd be out of office

ahahahahhahahh... "berlusconi has a fault: he doesn't care about his enemies!" ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
ahahahahah... I'm dying I swear! ahahahahahahahahahha! -
sacroppo... listen.... shut up!!! Italy doesn't deserve people like u... u're simply an ignorant guy because u're talking rubbish!!! U don't know the truth!! Italy is governated by MAFIA people and one of those is Silvio Berlusconi which controls all the information in Italy... that's it.. all the rest is just a bullshit!!!!

Italy is a bigger exporter than UK (and much bigger than Spain). The problem of Italy is the big differences inside the country. Northern and centre regions average GDP per capita is still similar to west Germany (and they have 5-7% of unemployment). Southern regions, on the other hand, are probably the poorest in west Europe. The problem of the south is not about money but legality and order.
