I can't say enough about how good this guitar is. I have played guitar for 28 years and every make and model. There is no guitar I have ever played that can compair with this one.

  • it looks like a jem555 to me.now thats deffo not custom shop lol

  • lol J customs are built in japan. That's why they are called 'J-Customs'

The only ibanez guitars built in the USA for the past ten years or more have been the LA Custom shop (LACS) and those are endorsee-only

  • Thats because the original custom JEMs bought custom guitar making into the spotlight for a whole new generation with his various creations.and modifications. In my oppinion his talents ar every underrated as well as overlooked by Ibanez JEM snobs. Mention his name and people besmearch him saying his work was shotty making anything up to defend the cheap remake that they bought from Ibanez

Joes guitars play like no other guitar off the shelf at ANY major chain no matter what the price. .

  • @stagekev - Despagni's that are 20 years old can still go for $2000. Crazy.

  • @deathcore1239

Because its made by Ibanez.. Get a Despagni JEM then you will have a real JEM.

  • @stagekev how is it a fake JEM? looks like a JEM7vwh with an edge pro, dimarzio evolution's , alder body, gold hardware, rosewood and tree of life. all looks like a real one to me

  • the only good jems you can get your mitts on are 1990/1993 circa the best being the florals with ebony fingerboards and there hard to find after that they used crap materials ibanez no pride!!!!!!!!!!

  • @guitarplayerone Prestieges are also built in Japan.

  • @MICKEYISLOWD It's the real deal.

  • china copy....

  • You need to get a real JEM.

  • @guitarplayerone You are correct sir. Also the new Prestige's for 2010 have stopped stamping the headstock with Team J Craft, they now have the KTS Titanium Rod logo and Made in Japan under it. That's how mine arrived, I called Ibanez in Bensalem, PA and the customer relations guy said they dropped logo for 2010, he wasn't sure why
