  • I think charging the robot with the spanner until he has very little HP, then run around a corner and shoot him once is much more resource effective than using all of your armor piercing bullets on him. I don't think he can attack you when you are that close either.

  • @xjod9 I have successfully circle strafed and meleed robots down before, but they *can* hit you at close range (unless there is some midwife-style exploit), and on impossible difficulty it's a big, big risk.

Anyway, having meaningful choices to make like that is what makes SS2 so great.

  • You should really make a storeroom for items that you don't need to carry at all times - like additional ammunition, hypos, implants and other things you wish to recycle in future, the area at 4:59 is in my opinion the best place.

  • @ShephardReborn I do, actually. Normally I use the lift, or sometimes the area next to it on medsci where the first ghost is seen. However I have noticed that, for some reason, items will be deleted. I don't know if that's because I had too many items in the same area, or if they have a time lifespan once dropped, or some other reason. But whatever the reason, I only start dropping stuff off now when I feel the need, which isn't all that often. SS2 is simple after engineering.

  • @angelmarine1292 The woman helping you is Dr. Janice Polito. What makes you ask if she's an AI?

  • @djkilldozer Unquestionably yes. Watch my BioShock review if you haven't.

  • @antisocialfatman I think if you run right up in it's face and slowly circle strafe to the right it's attacks will never hit you.

  • @raket94 Wrong.....the boss dosen't look like big daddy.....

The big daddy looks like the boss....

Bioshock = System Shock 2 but more shit.

  • that boss thing sort of remind me of big daddy because if i dont remember wrong those are also more vulnerable to amor piercing shots.

  • lol "pootato"

  • keep them coming

  • @antisocialfatman I'm glad to hear that. I've read so much about this game--and I loved Bioshock, so seeing it's smarter older brother is great--so I'd like to see it played out. I don't think I have the expertise to install and mod it myself so this is the best I can do.

Please keep it up, I'm enjoying it. :)

  • @antisocialfatman Are you saying Bioshock was dumbed down severely to appeal to more people?
