  • (cont) If you trivialize my capacity to love another man as you can love another woman, (and I don't mean in a brotherly kind of way) and chalk it up to a "choice" then you trivialize your capacity to love another woman in a romantic way. So if your logic can flow one way, then justify to me how it cannot flow the other way. No I don't "choose" to be gay, I AM gay, and I can assure you I have many more gay friends then you can dream of having, and we all seem to agree.

  • (cont) Lets address the church requiring parents to abandon their gay children or face being excommunicated from the temple. Or maybe we can address the rate of Mormon gay teen suicide? I mean I could get into other hypocrisys such as the churches history of polygamy, or blood atonements, but lets stick to the subject. This is my issue with your argument, sex is a choice, who we love, and how we express it is not a choice. (cont)

  • (cont) I would answer no. You can commit an act of homosexuality by choice as I can commit a straight act, but I can no more feel that "spark" with a woman no more than you can with another man. That is what I do not get to choose. So if you feel it appropriate for me to "act" in a way that is contrary to my heart, then would it be appropriate for me to ask you to do the same? No. So lets mention the Mormon church (cont)

  • @smsymbiote, you seem like a nice person, so I am not attacking you, but rather your church. You was that "we" have come to the conclusion that being gay is a choice. I find the wording of that interesting. Did you come to this "choice" as part of a group that "helps" gay people in the church to not be gay? Further, if I can "choose" to be straight, then can you "choose" to be gay? Of course you can, but could you fall in love with another man as you do a woman?(Cont)

  • SSnoooooo8, love the caps dude. It really emphasis your rage and disdain for us faggots. I am also quite sure that you also believe that black people were cursed by God, and faithfully read from the book Articles Of Zion. The truth is this, no one in society considered remotely respectful would associate with your kind. Not even Rush. You are an embarrassment to this country, so do what you do best. Troll.

  • Fernieboy, I get it, you have an issue with gay people. However I, unlike you understand that it is your right to not only disagree, but to have that right to disagree. I wouldn't dare try to take that right from you but based on your comment I don't hold that confidence in you. I unlike you do see the connection, I and many others get it. The bible and its message is lost on you as you cherry pick your way through it. Good luck with that.

  • I'm a Christian, and seeing this video hurts me a lot. Especially since those two commandments ARE the most important, and christianity should be ALL about love.

It hurts me to see such hateful people drag the name of my faith through the mud and hurt people like homosexuals. Let me tell you one thing I'm sure of: God loves homosexuals as much as heteros.

I feel so bad for all of the shit that's being done in the name of the God I believe in. I apologize on behalf of all true believers.

  • It is not the small, on the ground Christians who are the perpetrators of such hate; my RS teacher is the most tolerant and amazing human being I have ever had the fortune to come across. These people warp the true message of Jesus, which was faith and love. Your video highlights the hatred which homosexuals and others across society have experienced from these minorities using "God" as an excuse for their sick actions. Good people, of all faiths, should stand against such hatred. Love will out.

  • Many people who consider themselves homosexual or "gay" choose to build their identity around that particular behavior, that one aspect of their lives.

They confuse their sexual behavior with their sense of self, so that if anyone disapproves of their behavior (homosexuality) then it's seen as a personal attack.

A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality.

  • I am a Christian and I agree that there is much hate between Christians and non-believers. I am telling you, my brothers, that this shouldnt be. Its sad to say it but many Christians have strayed away from Gods true intentions. God doesnt want us to kill gays or abortion doctors- NO! The people that have been convicted of this have clearly misunderstood the scriptures. What God is saying is that the Christian people should put to death the sin, not the person with it, by exposing the Gospel.

  • @fernieboy100 Morals are man-made. Not from some god figure. I am responsible for my thoughts, feelings, words and actions. I do not pin them on a god or devil.

  • @smsymbiote "I have talked with all my gay friends and we have come to the conclusion that they chose to be gay. As it is you can also choose to stop, .. that is why we are here, to make choices and to live with them."

Then christians can choose not to be straight. Temporarily outlaw their marriage rights a few decades. It's in the best interest for the entire planet's ecosystem. Humans have overpopulated it to the point of endangering humanity itself. Gays populate far more responsibly.

  • Hi, I'm a mormon by faith and I have a few friends who are gay. I see Christianity as a guide back to heaven, not something to justify selfish intentions. We all sin, but it's a matter of a willingness to atone for those sins that saves us. I have talked with all my gay friends and we have come to the conclusion that they chose to be gay. As it is you can also choose to stop, but it is not my place to force you. After all, that is why we are here, to make choices and to live with them.
