McDonald's drops "pink slime" beef

McDonald's has announced a change in the type of beef it uses for burgers, perhaps thanks in part to celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. Bill Whitaker reports.

Difficult to believe McDonalds -- Especially when in December they released commercials that showed farmers with their cows roaming freely and saying they are a McDonalds beef supplier. Face it, McDonalds gets their beef off of feed lots -- from cows living in close quarters eating genetically modified grains. Where is their "Commitment to Quality"?

@nayerelson I was just teasing you with a point... my point is that you all have this stereo typical iq of theCanada, we don't have guns, we are socialistic...depending where your from everyone has guns as they hunt and fish, that is part of life here...as far as the free health care goes that doesn't make our Nation socialistic...and I think hand outs are for the disabled...as far as paying attention to who you vote it effects us what happens on your side of the border, we must!!!

@nayerelson your kidding me on the hunting thing right...it is obvious that we have better odds on surving off hunting we do have guns we just have gun laws...I eat moose meat and deer meat as part of my regular diet so that gets a really big lol and our household income is into the 6 figures so we are not in need of handouts...If I was American sorry I would have voted for Ron Paul and I am hoping your all smart enough to do that...much love, eh!
