On vault-but not overall. Both athletes had their strengths-Shannon's was elegance-Gutsu's was superior amplitude and risk imo. In the end the more daring acrobatics won.

If you claim to know her age was falsified you should be able to give a specific link or a specific place it can be found. If this was true it would be a big enough story that an archive of it would be available somewhere. Personally I think you are full of crap. I actually am one of those who does think Miller should have won but your age falsifcation claims on Gutsu are your own urban legend.

I revisit Tatiana's vault occasionally just to see if either was better than Shannon's first. Neither were. It's Shannon's medal.

@audie83 but gutsu won by the closest margin in olympic history: .012. and she shouldnt have even been there in the first place. she placed 4th on her team, and only 3 gymnasts are allowed to go to the all around, so they made poor rozalia galieva fake a knee injury so gutsu could compete.

@lagirl626 They didn't try to take her money..... They did take her money. They blew it all on the gym they thought would bring millions and it flopped. All they left Dominique with was debt. Really sad story.

@alexandrite105 she did not deserve this win she was overscored on bars, FLOOR ESCPECIALLY, she scored a 9.925, DISGUSTING! she steped 2 meters foward! beam pretty fairly, and VAULT omg! if the judges didnt have favoritism and would of acually seen that shannon miller had the perfect 10 vault shannon would of won. but obviusley they couldnt let their prescious ukranian down. disgusting
