@abukamoon you never had problems with ppl being assasinated on foreign soil, so.... kinda hypocrite to say that. And a pretty bold statement if you cant name particular cases. Or here go the X-file conspiracy theories again? And in what case did a public servant here show contempt for the rule of law that much that you feel the will to go raise arms? By not wanting armed gun nuts at a president meeting?
And when did the founders thought insanity is the last way of defense?

@lleuwelynn We are living in dangerous times. When a president thinks he has the authority to have American citizens assassinated without a trial based on his decision, and when public servants show contempt for the rule of law, the people cling to the ultimate defense against tyranny that the Founders provided.
It IS a dangerous situation, but respect is a two-way street. Politicians are not above the law. And the American people are not their slaves.

@abukamoon One thing Obama has done wrong is that he is not left sided enough. And the intimidation factor is totally on the gun owner side. It is a reality fact that most gun owners dont need their guns for true self defense, but rather more to show off or show their macho side. There is a difference in between saying something political incorrect and shuving a gun under their face.
It is a dangerous situations where citizens show a total disrespect for their community and their leaders.

Respond to this video... And while I would not want to be anywhere Clinton or Obama, or most of our politicians, it is interesting to see them in a situation where are not in a position to intimidate anyone who says something that they consider politically incorrect.
It is a dangerous situation when American citizens are afraid of their public servants.

@lleuwelynn That's true. But do you remember several years ago when a man and his wife were at a function that Bill Clinton was attending? As he walked by them, one of them stated something to the effect, "you suck". Clinton gestured to the Secret Service and they grabbed the two people. They claimed that they had "threatened" Clinton. They were not arrested, but they were harassed. And this type of intimidation needs to come to a screeching halt.

@abukamoon well from secret service operatives one would expect them to be tested on psychic and mental illnesses. One thing we certainly cant say about this woman.
-
@lleuwelynn Were there any Secret Service there? If so, were they armed? How do we know that they wouldn't start shooting into the crowd, or be directed to do so? Why would we trust them any more than we would trust this woman?
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. That goes for presidents, too.
-
@Griz806 I bet Kennedy was scratching his head too.
-
@abukamoon It seems she also has a constitunional right to be be extremely stupid. How did she think she would not have the cops on her if she was packing heat at a presidents meeting.
you don't support the right to bear arms. Due to the fact that you believe that we are not all equal. I suppose you assert that the president is some sort of god king whos life is far more important then my life or yours. Either we're equal or we're not.

To see how the situation should have been handled read about the people/protestors in Arizona who were openly carrying weapons outside of the Obama event. Though the police and secret service kept a close eye on the people with weapons in AZ, the protestors were not hassled by the police because AZ is an open carry state.
