In our Digital DJing with Traktor Pro 2 program, students learn the fundamental concepts of DJing via Traktor's intuitive interface. In the second and third installments of this video series focusing on our Digital DJing program, Dubspot Instructor, course designer, and 2x DMC Champ DJ Shiftee breaks down the techniques and talks about how he utilized Native Instruments' Traktor Kontrol S4 to achieve the live performance routine in the first video.
In the third and final installment, Shiftee looks at one of the most powerful and fun features in the S4, the Sample Decks which allows you to load and sync loops and samples, trigger them cue-point style, assign effects, group filters, volume control, the list goes on.

Tip:

By clicking the Deck letters you can switch modes for the decks between (Track, Sample, External). This saves you the trouble of going into the setup. :)

i've had the s4 for a year now.. i'm still learning.. still expanding on my style :) get one if you can. turntables and a mixer are wonderful. but really.. the s4 is on some future space shit.. already
