David Sedaris on Letterman

I love this guy, especially the story "Rooster at the hitchin' post". So true.

I love David Sedaris' books, but he doesn't have a great voice.

And really, I find his books incredibly helpful and interesting, so this is weird for me to say.

I felt the same way. It took a while and then my taste for his readings was a whole different pleasure all together. There are two great experiences to be had with David. But I too felt dissapointment in listening versus reading. Now I see his delivery and voice is perfect.

Gee, well I think the time for this sort of thing has long come and gone in the 90's with Seinfeld fine it should be wiped as irrelevant. Yes we neeed to pee at inconvienient times but we also live on a violent, hateful planet and this is just in denial of anything like that so to laugh is to have an amazingly easy break with reality. Ok the briss part made me feel yucky, congratulations.
