Thanks! I was using a Sony HDR-SR7 High Def camcorder with a Manfrotto 501HDV Fluid Head/745XB Video Tripod. From the distance, I was just at the extreme limits of stability.

Great video of the sailing vessels with good cannon sound effects (without the crowd noise). Looks like you had a great vantage point for the shots. If it weren't for the high rise bride with cars passing over, you'd think you were in 1862!

Thanks! I liked your close-ups of the rebel batteries with the union squadron in the background. And the drum march is a nice touch! I was lucky to get the vantage point I had; far enough from the cannon so the discharge didn't damage my hearing, but I just barely close enough from the heaviest tripod I've got...
