Tatum Blvd Red Light Camera CHEATS!!!

This is the corner of Tatum and McDonald in paradise Valley. Get ready to start your stopwatch around the 35 second mark, where I say that I timed the yellow and it is possibly 3 seconds...

Yes, it really IS 3 seconds. At 40mph, this is a totally insufficient duration. It's supposed to be 4.3 seconds for the road speed plus the fact that you have limited visibility of the traffic signal from a distance due to the road curving.

Note that within ONE DAY of my inquiring about this intersection, the timing of the yellow mysteriously changed to 4.3 seconds! I wonder how/why that happened!!!

Note: because of this video, all tickets at that intersection between 5/6 and 6/15 have been DISMISSED! Without this video, there would have been no proof that there was ever a problem at that intersection!

This garbage doesn't surprise me, is Paradise Valley, Everything there is set up to give people tickets. All the speed limits are at least 5mph lower than all the surrounding cities and despite the roads being exactly the same the speed limit is lower the city then places the camera truck just beyond the sign indicating the change.

Thank you! I absolutely abhor those radar cameras! Especially when they were dotted all over the freeways... I've never gotten flashed by a radar... but I just dislike the Napolitano blatant and professed reason of bringing in "revenue" by doing this very type of thing. Radars I mean. Well, maybe the cheating too... who knows! >:-|

Where does a person get the information regarding the legal light durations. I.E. how long the yellows have to be and at what speed limits they are timed for?

Get rid of the cameras and maybe then the government won't be out there trying to cause accidents and fatalities for extra cash~
